Level 1 Award in Environmental Sustainability (QCF)

The Level 2 Award in Environmental Sustainability course raises awareness around key environmental issues, explores the benefits of

sustainable communities and encourages learners to reflect on their individual responsibilities.

This course is delivered in one day and aims to provides an introduction to the essential concepts of sustainability and introduce learners to

ways in which they can reduce their environmental impacts.

On completion of the course, delegates will:

Understand the basic concepts of sustainability

Understand the importance of natural resources

•

Understand the global environmental impacts of agriculture and industry and how they might be reduced

•

Understand the benefits of sustainable communities

Assessment

The Level 2 Award in Environmental Sustainability course is assessed by means of a paper-based or online multiple choice exam.
